What is TeamDance USA?
TeamDance USA is a new dance competition for all competitive gymnastics levels. Bring your team dance to Great Destinations Maryland at the Gaylord Resort. Teams/levels competing in the gymnastics invitational on Saturday will compete TeamDance on Sunday. The TeamDance competition is optional for all teams, but we hope all teams will join the fun and participate. The TeamDance entry fee is $25 per level.
RULES FOR TEAMDANCE USA
*Teams will compete by level
*Maximun of 20 gymnasts per dance team
*Competition will be on a dance floor provided by the hotel
*Minimal tumbling that can be performed safely per level will be permitted
*Dance routines should be no longer than 3:00 minutes
*Any genre of dance may be used
*Any genre of music may be used - vocals allowed
*Leotard preferred however costumes are allowed
*Dance judges
*Judging will be based on:
*Creativity
*Originality
*Musicalty
*Synchronization
*Overall Impression
*Top team per level will receive special team award
